Auckland University of Technology:  Driving innovation, discovery, creativity and real-world impact

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is Aotearoa New Zealand’s only university of technology. Times Higher Education ranks AUT in the top 1% of universities worldwide, the top 50 universities that are 50 years old or younger and in the top 251-300 globally for Medical and Health studies.

AUT is proud to partner with the Auckland Medical Research Foundation for the occasion of their 70th anniversary. Since its inception, the AMRF has played a vital role in providing the means for the researchers of today to find the solutions of tomorrow. The incredible advances in medical and health science that have been made as a result of the AMRF’s support is a testament to its importance in Aotearoa’s research landscape.

“AUT shares with the AMRF a commitment to research for a reason; our research aims to drive innovation, discovery, creativity and real-world impact,” says Professor Mark Orams, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research.

“Collaborative and enduring relationships with partners such as the AMRF helps us to undertake the kind of research that inspires and transforms people, communities, and environments. These partnerships grow our place in the world.

“We congratulate the AMRF on a remarkable 70 years, and look forward to working together for many more to come.”
